This project was for my senior capstone. We looked at the blue origin's moon lander and decided to build a better system. The group was: myself, Jacob Bridenbecker, Collins Davis, Tyler Swearingen, and Donna Coyle. Collins and I worked together as the project managers to ensure the project was done on time.

The project was broken into six subsystems: The Guidance, The Gearbox, The Grip, The Top-Hat, the Cage, The Platform, and the Guidance. We made life size prototypes of each system to ensure their integration with each other and tested the final product. The group also chose different materials to ensure the added weight was as low as possible. The materials were chosen through CES Edupack based on the different requirements that the team setup to ensure safe use in space and on the lunar surface with the abrasive regolith that could potentially harm the system.

This team met over the corse of 9 months to design, build, and analyze the Ingress/Egress System for Tall Lunar Structures (IESTLS).
